Live Space

Our newly refurbished Live Space provides a large day-lit recording room with state of the art wiring, providing eighty simultaneous feeds to the Control room. With a homely environment that includes solid oak flooring, thermostatically controlled climate control it really is the ideal working environment for any artist. Our acoustic treatment provides an infinite variety of solutions for the most meticulous of artists to allow you to achieve the sound that is right for you.

Control Room

Moving into the Control Room, our Software based Protools HD2 Accel rig provides professional, high quality recording to match any high end recording studio, but with a more affordable price tag. Blitz Sounds adheres to classic sounds as well as those of a more up-to-date feel so vintage reel to reel 2 track recorders and analogue outboard equipment sit side by side with the latest in software based, plug-in technology. All equipment was wired in using the highest quality silver cabling by our own engineers and our custom built patch bays allow the addition of any equipment you may wish to use. Using Apple Mac G5s, twin LCD screens and a Digidesign Control 24 the power of the Protools Peripherals and the vast range in our plug-in and sample library really is at your fingertips. Combining both industry standard microphones and exclusive varieties we are sure that you’ll be able to create a sound that suits you. Please view our equipment list for more details.

Plant Room

Located in the plant room adjacent to both rooms are the two giant server towers that house the Macs, Protools peripherals and all other pieces of equipment that may create noise interference. This temperature controlled environment allows over 160 connections from both the Live space and the Control room ensuring that whatever your needs, we can cater for them.

Rehearsal

For those of you that are preparing to be the next big thing then our Live Space is also available to use as a rehearsal area. With the same facilities available for you to use, just without the recording, you can start to feel comfortable in a working environment as you prepare your verses and riffs for the adoring crowds!

Producers

Blitz Sounds employs an open house policy to engineers and producers. If you wish to use our facilities and have a particular engineer or producer you want to work with then we are the studio for you. Furthermore, if you're an aspiring engineer or producer and have clients queuing up but need a professional studio to work your magic, then please give us a call.

Blitz Sounds also has it's own catalogue of professional producers and engineers ready to work on your project regardless of style or genre. We currently offer the following producers.

Revybe Productions - Hip Hop, Urban and Dance

Revybe is the exceptional alliance of two of the most gifted Hip Hop and dance music producers UK has to offer. Recently formed, this remarkable duo has already produced an impressive number of potential top chart hits and remixes for some of the best up and coming urban and dance artists of the moment. Their talent has recently caught the attention of well established artists such as Apache Indian, The Ragga Twinz, Offlicence, G.O.P and that's just the beginning. The dynamic duo have also worked with Cheshire Cat, The Dons, Tarli Digital, Laddi Bath, Meet Malkit, Lembher Hussainpuri, Hans Raj Hans, Baldev Mastana, Shinda Sureela, Notorious Jatt, Phoenix Knights, P.Nology, Nachattar Gill, Satvinder Bugga, Stretch, Kaka Bhaniwala, Jay Fuller, Ranjit Rana.

Studio Rates

Here's our reduced studio rates for 2009. We now offer prices with or without our engineers which means you are free to use our excellent facilities and your favorite producer/engineer at a fraction of the cost!

With Engineer
We now charge £25 per hour or £170 for the day (8 Hours).
We offer further discounts for those who block book:
3 days £480
5 days £750

Without Engineer
We charge £15 per hour or £100 for the day (8 Hours).
Again we offer further discounts for those who block book
3 days £250
5 days £350

If you are intending to book in without an engineer we would advise that you at least book an hour with the engineer to familiarise yourself with the setup.
