Based in Coventry, Blitz Sounds Limited is the West Midlands’ premiere music production facility and PA hire outlet. Our service provides the ultimate recording, rehearsal, and live sound reinforcement solution.

Our studio facility offers state of the art digital editing systems with traditional analogue processing providing a solution to suit all tracking, mixing and mastering needs. We can provide specialist live recording space, voiceover facilities and post production solutions. We also house extensive range of PA sound systems and professional audio equipment for live sound reinforcement for entertainment, music, places of worship and corporate events. Our clients range from mainstream rock bands to classical and dance projects.

At Blitz Sounds we offer full production assistants with your project, from arrangement of session musicians, composition, recording and mastering all in an inspiring and creative environment and in addition we provide an extensive range of introductory courses for musical instruments and the studio environment. Our dedicated team is relaxed, professional, and totally committed to the realisation of your projects full potential.

This year has seen us working all manner of venues and events, which has put Blitz Sounds firmly on the map as the all in one solution. In addition to this we’ve recently added staging, lighting, promotion, installation, duplication, graphic and web design to our services.

Reduced Studio rates for 2009

Here's a list of the reduced Blitz Sounds studio rates for 2009. We now offer prices with or without our engineers. With means you are free to use the excellent facilities and your favorite producer/engineer at a fraction of the cost!

With Engineer
We now charge £25 per hour or £170 for the day (8 Hours).
We offer further discounts for those who block book:
3 days £480
5 days £750

Without Engineer
We charge £15 per hour or £100 for the day (8 Hours).
Again we offer further discounts for those who block book
3 days £250
5 days £350

If you are intending to book in without an engineer we would advise that you at least book an hour with the engineer to familiarise yourself with the setup.

Blitz Sounds welcomes Revybe Productions to the team

Revybe Productions have now joined forces with Blitz Sounds. Revybe is the exceptional alliance of two gifted Hip Hop and dance music producers, Redouane (AKA RED1) and Jimmy (AKA J-Vybe). This remarkable duo has already produced an impressive number of potential top chart hits and remixes for some of the best up and coming urban and dance artists of the moment. Their talent has recently caught the attention of well established artists such as Apache Indian, The Ragga Twinz, Offlicence, G.O.P and that's just the beginning! The dynamic duo have also worked with Cheshire Cat, The Dons, Tarli Digital, Laddi Bath, Meet Malkit, Lembher Hussainpuri, Hans Raj Hans, Baldev Mastana, Shinda Sureela, Notorious Jatt, Phoenix Knights, P.Nology, Nachattar Gill, Satvinder Bugga, Stretch, Kaka Bhaniwala, Jay Fuller, Ranjit Rana.

City College Students

We welcome back City College who are using the Pro Tools HD studio facilities here at Blitz Sounds to support a variety of BTEC courses which spcialise in Music and Music Technology. We hope students enjoy their experience at Blitz Sounds and all we have to offer.

Long-term Rehearsal Rooms To Let

Tired of having to lug your instruments from one rehearsal to the next? Well, Blitz Sounds is now providing spaces for bands to rent on short-term basis or long-term basis for rehearsal. Most of the rooms are available on a minimum one month term however we are still offering rooms that are available by the hour, day, week, or longer. The rooms come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and are all semi-soundproofed, some of them come with internal deadening others come as just shells. All rooms have car parking facilities, 24-hour access and CCTV for security. So if your band needs somewhere to rehearse then please give us a call on 024 7670 5820 to check for availability and information on waiting lists.

Deride

Deride have been busy in the studio here at Blitz Sounds, adding the finishing touches to 'Dancing Naked In The Backroom'. This is another great track from the lads, who go from strengh to strengh. Our History

Blitz Sounds was founded in early 2004. We started off as a small recording studio mainly working with mastering clients and sample-based artists. Having mixed a number of band recordings and seeing a need for a high class recording studio similar to those found in London, we started work on Studio One at the start of 2005. After investing over £200,000 on constructing an isolated, floating live room that was spacious and day lit, and equipping the Control Room with the latest Pro Tools HD2 Accel system, we proudly opened our doors in February 2006. Based around Digidesign’s top hardware and software and a vast array of modern and vintage outboard equipment, Studio One covers almost any application from recording artists, to samples, from tape and vinyl to CD conversion to advertising jingles. Our portfolio includes artists such as Nizlopi, Horace Panter (The Specials), Pint Shot Riot, The Heys and Offlicence.

In 2006 Blitz Sounds started the PA Hire side to the business and began working alongside CV One and Coventry City Council to bring the Caribbean Festival 2006 at the Memorial Park. From then we hit venues of all types and sizes for all manner of events such as outdoor functions at Stoneleigh Abbey, to gigs and raves at nightclubs including The Kasbah and JJ’s (formerly Jumpin Jaks). Working with The Kasbah we have helped to provide sound systems for acts such as The Enemy, and The Rapture. Our partnership with JJ’s brought about the live band nights known as Live, Loud and Local, and Battle of the Bands which became a showcase for the best live acts from around the Midlands. We also provided the sound system at the Ricoh Arena, finally showing we can bring it to the masses with our experienced sound engineers, high-end L-Acoustic Sound System and Amps, Allen & Heath and Yamaha mixing consoles, and our vast array of professional outboard from manufacturers such as Klark Technik and Drawmer.
